1970s Gumps Embroidered Caftan Dress designer-emanuel-ungaro It is exceptionally long andA gorgeous 1970s caftan maxi dress done in a feather light, textured silk chiffon that has metallic flowers appliqued and embroidered onto the top layer. The gown is cut long and full, and is constructed of two layers of almost weightless silk chiffon on the top and tissue silk underneath. I love the almost watteau back and the extra fullness of the cut there. It gives the dress a romantic, exotic feeling and is a stunning complement to the lightness
