It is set so that it appears to wrap and tie around you but this is all created by clever seaming and cutting as it is actually all attached through the waist and then only open under that along the wrapped over edge

It has its original matching belt that is heavily covered in sequins and gold so you can cinch it the caftan in for more definition and gathers at the waist or leave super loose and full

Bust: 15-18" flat across from side seam to side seam under the cups

The top portion is a flat disc that has deep charcoal grey and black feathers placed around an center midpoint

Was very pleased to have been presented with a second one so soon after the first flew out the door

It's Haute Couture by Marc Bohan. One thing to note is that Kai Gerber wore the Oscar de la Renta version of this to the Met Gala in 2021. This is the original couture piece that her dress was based on. It is made out of a black silk on the top with hand embroidery and the skirt is netting. It is an extremely special piece. Reference
