Born Classical ethereal tonesThis painting imagines a sun growing beneath a body of water. It depicts a moment before this star emerges, not yet breaching the surface. In this sense, the sun is eternally at this in between moment, solely focused on this moment where it's evolving. Where will this sun go after and where did it come from? As a method of reducing paint waste, many of my works at this size start by being a painting palette. This way, all the excess paint resulting
