are both handwritten in French and prove difficult to decipher but the date of 1889 is clear as is the dolls name Emile and the little girls name who owned the doll

The six bottles contained within the box have small individual stoppers

the underside with a six character Kangxi mark (1662-1722) surviving from a cargo wreck

strewing the ashes over the grave

The condition of the painting is unrestored, uncleaned and unframed and is in as found order and does show
