The Karen textile was built from photos I took of frost covered grasses on a morning walk from my house

and insects have been present in my art for decades placing my work squarely at the intersection of surrealism and nature

Years later I came across it and started altering it for digital textiles

It looks like jewelry

I am forever bonded to its history
