Over the Bed bitumen A timber dresserA derelict bed frame sits beneath a wall of peeling paint and crumbling plaster, layers of newspaper pressed into the surface as draught insulation against the Southern Tablelands winters. This was a bedroom in the postmaster's residence at Big Hill Post Office, which served the district from 1 November 1869 until 1945. Part of the Big Hill Post Office series.
