The solidified sticky sap produced by the Acacia Tree is abundant in tropical and subtropical regions. We find it in particular in Sudan, which is the largest producer of it, and it is found in some countries in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, like Yemen and Oman. Over the centuries, gum Arabic has been well known in the aromatic and medicinal repertoires of cultures
