Bon Voyage green landscape reflecting upon the shimmering oceanBon Voyage is another painting in my migration series. I began the series in response to the ANL Maritime Award Exhibition theme 'Humanity's Relationship to the Sea'. This painting was a finalist in that exhibition. The paintings have been influenced by my childhood migration to Australia in the early 1950s. Streamers feature in most of the works in this series, symbolising broken ties with family and one's country of birth.
