Haircap Moss provides erosion control solutions holding the soil tightly in place. Plants are a deep green with dramatic changes in appearance based upon moisture content. Leaves will tightly curl around the stem when dry and within a minute will unfurl with misting. Sporophytic setae start as bright green and transition through yellow, orange and red shades.
