One question I always get with the project is "Why November

over hills

In the past five years I have explored many places around Denver and the western United States as part of this project

By positioning my camera so there were angles in the photo instead of straight on provided a stronger image to me

It has been a pretty active wildfire season in the area

As the snow tapered off the foothills started to become visible in the distance. With the fresh snow on the grass and the fall color in the leaves I found myself on the capitol steps to capture this image west through Civic Center Park towards the City and County of Denver building.
