A city can reveal many things by the style and manner in which it was constructed

I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

I noticed the patterns formed by the stairs and building not just the lines but also the texture and shine of metal

t was a chilly evening with the clear skies so after spending a little over an hour at the location I headed back to the warmth of the the car and home

It was an evening when aircraft were taking off to the north which allowed me to get a little closer then when I did a similar image in 2008 south of the airport

The whale sculpture is not too far from downtown and for those coming to visit by cruise ship could be 0. 5 1 mile away. Around every 15 minutes the water feature of the sculpture starts which adds the effect the whale is jumping out of the water which is around it in the park.
