The soft light provided by the clouds helped when I came across this bulb sign sitting on a wooden table in the yard

but you also get great days like this to enjoy the Juneau and the surrounding area

the challenges of weather or time and the results created during the Thirty Days Project

I noticed the reflection of Republic Plaza and after moving back and forth along the curb came up with the above composition

With the sun starting to set late in the evening the clouds provides and interesting backdrop for the plane

Iceberg and Birds Size:8"x10" The soft light provided byEarly in the morning we were out in Zodiacs exploring the giant icebergs which we came across as we sailed up Scoresby Sound and Hall Bredning. The icebergs were quite massive as we navigated through them but also keeping a safe distance in case one was to calf and or roll. At the top of this berg you can see the birds which are flying around looking for food at the top of the ice and as we sat for a while photographing the birds continued to fly
