This piece honours the Australian Azure Kingfisher, a master of stillness and precision. What draws me to the kingfisher is not just its beauty, but its discipline. It waits. It watches. And then, in a single decisive moment, it dives trusting instinct, timing, and skill. There is no hesitation, only knowing.
