the liner had factory olive-drab covered in layers of thick olive-drab and a flakey white over paint

US FS #85 the interior was in poorUS FS #85 The shell is an original WWII McCord Radiator with a front seam, stainless steel band and swivel bales. The heat stamp is 927M (never seen an M before). When acquired, the shell was hand painted in a post war green. There is no rust. The shell was stripped to bare metal, primed and painted olive drab with a textured outer. A new OD3 para chinstrap set has been fitted. The liner is an original of WW2 vintage, it is a high pressure type
