It is an authentic piece of cast bronze metalwork by the artisan Houun. The vase features a tall, slender, hexagonal obelisk like shape tapering towards the top. Three sides of the hexagonal column are finished with a smooth, dark brown patina, while the alternating three sides feature a highly textured, bark like rough surface. The base is flat and unglazed bronze metal.
