Bikers outside the Ace Cafe North Circular Road 1963 Frame:white 6 of The Theatre WorldThe Ace Caf on the North Circular Road was one of the most popular haunts for the 'Ton Up boys'. Arriving on their motorbikes, rockers would meet up at this caf and others to mend their bikes, play rock n roll music on the jukeboxes and socialise. Record racing was one thrill at the Ace Caf. Bikers would put on a record from the jukebox and race each other to a chosen place and back before the record ended.
