Honeycomb in Lincoln Park Presentation:Matted As we started to descend

As we started to descend into Denver on a flight returning from California I was noticing what could happen with the high level clouds

While enjoying some ice cream at a shop in Hawai'i which gave you a view of a small beach in Lahaina I noticed the waves coming in and out

One of those locations was Elitch Gardens which brought out a crowd to Diamond Hill and other areas near the park

A spring storm dropped some snow along the Front Range of Colorado

As I photographed from here you can see some of the design elements noticeable in front blended more so with the building itself

Honeycomb in Lincoln Park Presentation:Matted As we started to descendDuring a visit to Chicago I headed north to the Lincoln Park area. Within the park is a pavilion which is called the Honeycomb. On this spring day I spent easily 30 minutes photographing the piece and the abstraction photographs which could be captured. This is more so a straight on look at the piece and the details of the wood which creates the pavilion letting the lines and patterns give a sense of the pavilion itself.
