Seeing the snow start to fall on Saturday evening

Each year during the Thirty Days project

The forecast was for some active skies overnight with the Northern Lights and with the clear skies the past few days it was a must to go and check them out

Depending on the weather in the next couple of days this scene could be quite different come midweek

Afternoon at Sloans Lake Size:8"x10" Idaho I took some photographsI headed to Sloans Lake for some afternoon light on a November afternoon. First stop was photographing the skyline across the lake with a steady breeze blowing. Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind. Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day
