Brit28 primed and painted olive-drab withBrit28 The shell is an original WW2, British manufactured MkII shell with a stainless steel banded edge. The stainless steel chinstrap lugs are the MkIII type and are unmarked. There are no clear factory markings evident. When acquired the shell had no paint to speak of; was covered in surface rust with pitting to portions of the outer surface and much of the inner surface. The shell cleaned up nicely.
